Do you find yourself feeling happy with others who are rejoicing and aching with others who are suffering?  The Compassion Team is a place to use your gifts.  See where you can impact other's lives in huge ways:

 

C.A.R.E. - We all need someone to reach out to us and this team Contacts and follows up with visitors and people who are attending to find out how ECF can Assist them with their struggles or needs, Relate to them through our own struggles and experiences to build relationships with them, and come along side them to Encourage them through this thing called life.  It's what the New Testament refers to when it describes the Church.  You can help build community and meet needs.

 

Prayer Team - Prayer is the gift God gave us to interact with Him, intercede on the behalf of others, and impact the kingdom of God at large, both the seen and unseen.  ECF must be covered in prayer if we are going to interact with God and learn His will and our need for Him.  ECF's prayer team will intercede for needs of the church and individuals and for impact on individuals, the local community and the world beyond.

 

Outreach - ECF wants to reach out past its' walls and go to the community and reach people where they are.  This team will be the catalyst for ECF reaching the un-churched for Anderson by planning community events, working with the Communications Team, creating gifts for follow-ups with first-time visitors, and help other at members at ECF develop in the area of evangelism.

 

Meal Ministry - This team helps people who are in the midst of hospital stays, illness, tragedy or other unexpected turns in life where they need some of the basic needs of life met.  This team organizes and executes ways of meeting those needs.  It may be providing a meal or cutting a lawn, but it is about helping people through a challenging time in life by lovingly meeting needs.
